A breath-taking sunset colors the sky red and casts a rose reflection upon a Maine lake. In the foregrouund, a pair of hooded mergansers view this spectacle of nature in the hand-painted MILFORD cachet.

An Augusta postmark ties the new duck stamp and the

trillium wildflower stamp to the cover. Serial numbers used were 22531 to 22670.
