Lot 1 B101 — 16-cent Statue of Liberty (3-31-78)

This is just the second cachet I produced and is a "must have" cover for the serious Collins collector. It has a coil pair and a sheet plate number single with machine cancel from New York City plus another coil pair and sheet single with first day hand cancel from the small upstate village of Liberty, New York, where •I personally took them to be postmarked on day of issue after my New York stop. A fabulous piece to own, and you won't find it available too often.
