Lot 2 D102 — American Dance 

Plate number pair has the New York City first day of issue bullseye cancel. The opposite pair has the Roseland, New Jersey day of issue postmark with killer bars. Roseland was the name of a famous dance hall during the 1900's. Only 45 of this cancel variety were produced, and this is the first time I remember having one in my sales. This one (D102) is very scarce and difficult to find.
