Spring 2022 Mail Sale Commentary 

ILLot 2 D103 — American Dance (4-26-78) Only25 exist.

This is the first time this cover has appeared in one of my mail sales. Only 25 were produced. I was "on the road" for the first day of issue, and this one is a beauty with triple first day of issue postmarks. A plate number pair has a large New York City slogan cancel. A third stamp has a great Broadway, New Jersey postmark with killer bars. Finally, a pair has a Roseland, New Jersey (name of a famous New York City dance hall) cancel with killer bars. The visual of stamps and postmarks of this D103 is spectacular. Only the 4th Collins cachet and again only a total of 25 were made.
