Jimmie was known as "The Father of Country Music" and "The Singing Brakeman." A small bullseye first day of issue postmark ties a plate number single to the envelope in the official city of Meridian, Mississippi. I then traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, Home of Country Music and the Grand Ole Opry, for a magnificent large first day of issue postmark with killer bars. The hand painted cachet, only my seventh, shows a train and a guitar. This is the first time this variety has appeared in one of my sales
