Lot 2 Y101 — American Toleware — (4-19-79)

This very attractive 1979 Collins does not appear on the market often. A plate number pair of the colorful and distinctive folk art cookware has the first day of issue from Lancaster in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country. After affixing the remaining pair of the Toleware stamps to the covers, I took them to Cooksville, Maryland for a lovely first day of issue large bullseye postmark with killer bars. This distinctive Collins along with all of the others from 1978 and 1979 are steadily rising in value.
