Collins Cover Announcement 

UNITED WAY

A vertical format provides this COLLINS cover with an interesting portrayal of the "United Way" concept. At the top, multi-racial hands are donating money -- bills and coins -- into a common pot. The money is then channeled into a funnel. On each side of the funnel is a single of the United Way stamp. One is cancelled officially at Washington, D.C., and one is cancelled unofficially at "Monee", Illinois. Under the stamps and spout of the funnel, a brightly colored rainbow provides a canopy for three children at play and enjoying their childhood, oblivious to the difficulties which the "United Way" contributions are helping to offset.
