This is the first of the "Special Occasions" covers, and it is noteworthy to mention that these mark my first use of a new technique for COLLINS FDCs -- the use of an air brush to provide a dramatic and even background to the hand-painted cachet. In this case, it is a soft pink against which a hand-painted bouquet of pink roses conveys the message from the heart. It is a soft and lovely First Day Cover.

The Thank You and Keep In Touch stamps are canceled at Atlanta, Georgia. This cover is the first of the "Occasions" issue, and the completed set will illustrate varied combinations of hand painting and hand-applied air brush coloring. Something different and beautiful. Item #I1202 - $7.25
