This neon bright COLLINS FDC is the third and final one of my Hummingbird set. In this case, the two birds flutter about tall stemmed flowers with mint green foliage and two-toned neon red blooms. Red predominantly attracts hummingbirds and that is why my three-cachet set used so many different shades of this color. As with the previously offered two covers, the attractive new stamps are postmarked at Washington, D.C.

The cachet designs employ the same technique as the stamps which depicted the hummingbirds and flowers against a white background. This is not my usual preference or style, but in this case I thought that it provided a nice change of pace. I think that this set will continue to sell at a steady pace from my stock because it encompasses the topics of wildlife, nature, and birds plus hummingbirds themselves are lovable and unique little creatures. Considering the appeal to present and future topical collectors added to the fact that future COLLINS collectors will be seeking them, I suggest you secure the set of three.
