The flying wedge pictorial from Rochester, Minnesota gives this MILFORD a wonderful philatelic flair. Postmark placement provides a prominent center position framed by the stamps and hand- painted cachet. A pair of Ross Geese flies over an intricate pattern of winter tree branches that extend to a cloud filled sky. Watercolors used compliment the coloring of the stamp.
