A woodland pool provides of sanctuary for a pair Bufflehead Ducks. The females of tiris species nest in the cavities of trees so a forest habitat is most appropriate. The coloring of the cachet blends nicely with that of the stimps.

A Portland ,'City of Roses', cancel ties the stamps to the cover. Stamp numbers used were 41276 to 41635.
