1991 ARKANSAS

A wild razorback hog appears suddenly out of the shoreline brush and the startled widgeon quickly paddles away from the menacing boar. The dramatic scene of this chance encounter brings a realistic perspective to the hand-painted cachet. Use of a very small "corner cachet" to the upper left gives this MILFORD a balanced appearance. The three stamps are tied to the cover by a bold postmark from the Little Rock Philatelic Center. There were 357 FDCs produced for this issue.
