Gwen was honored by serving on the boards of Harvard Institute of Politics, The Committee to Protect Journalists,

The Museum of Telervision and Radio, and the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalisrn.

Iflll was the first Afiican-American woman to moderate Vice Presidential debates. Her first ones were between Dick

Cheney and John Edwards in 2004, and she had the same role in 2008 when she moderated the Vice Presidential

debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden. She passed away on November 14, 2016.

My individually hand painted cachet shows this amazing black woman at her desk. I personally enjoyed watching

her very much as she was well informed on current events, objective in her commentary, thoughtful, knowledgeable,

and articulate. This country could use more like Gwen as she was, in my opinion, a national journalistic treasure.

I proudly announce my first day cover for Gwen lfill. Collins #J5901 at $16.50.
