Earth Cover Introduction

EARTH

The deadline for ordering will be very soon. If you haven't ordered this set of eight, please send your $9.50 deposit now to reserve this marvelous series of COLLINS covers. Don't be shut

out!

Why you should own a set:

1. Production will be limited to only those collectors reserving

sets now, and only they will have them in their holdings.

These covers will be an instant "sold out". As such, they will have immediate status, desirability and value within the hobby.

2. The new "E" stamp heralding the rate increase to 25-cents was put out so quickly that many cachetmakers just weren't ready. The COLLINS "E" covers with the Earth hand-painted cachets will be the finest produced for this important new issue.

3. With eight monthly payments of $9.50, the covers are affordable. This is an investment quality set, and I personally recommend it as such.

4. The hand-painted covers are absolutely gorgeous. A brief

description of each follows. You will look forward with anxious anticipation to each shipment. The major COLLINS project of 1988 -- history in the making!

5. The final reason is old-fashioned common sense. If you reserve

a set now, you can always change your mind against it (with my money-back guarantee), but if you don't reserve a set, you cannot change your mind for it. Please don't be left out.

A brief overview of the eight covers. These are incredible "entire" cachets, each done in beautiful watercolors. Lovely.

1. North America -- Perched in a pine tree, the great horned owl

stares with intense eyes -- a wildlife treasure; a grand wide-angle view of the Grand Canyon reveals colors that will excite; the proud portrait of a weathered chief in full headdress adds a dramatic look at a native people.

2. South America -- The continent's largest cat, the jaguar,

stalks in a tropical rain forest habitat; the bay at Rio sparkles in the sun; and, attired in bright Latin colors, a mother and babe stroll in the high Andes.

3. Europe -- Reindeer with large antlered racks meander across

Scandanavia; the snow-crested Matterhorn is majestic as the crown jewel of the Swiss Alps; and, in front of a flower-boxed old world chalet, a costumed villager is charming in native dress.

4 Australia -- A baby lamb is cuddled by a rugged Aussie rancher; delicate flowering plants and massive rock formations spring from the outback wasteland; and a koala bear, which is beyond cute, captures your heart.

5. Antarctica -- Distinctive penguins colonize along the barren

coast; an explorer is protected with furs and goggles against the frigid cold and glaring reflections; and, a scientific station is isolated in the land of snow and ice.

6. Africa -- Bordered by lush, green jungle on both sides, thun

dering water cascades over Victoria Falls; an African princess is quietly beautiful in bright tribal robes; and a trumpeting bull elephant challenges your approach to his watering hole.

7. Asia -- An oriental priest is dressed in colorful splendor

against a backdrop of a mountain village and Himalayan peaks;

two wild giant pandas engage in the sharing of a playful lunch; and a single bloom of the lovely lotus flower displays the miracle of nature.

8. Seven Seas -- An early sailing ship is tossed about on angry

seas in whitecaps and turmoil; a deep sea diver is a temporary intruder in the ocean depths; and, you look upward into the cavernous mouth and dagger-like teeth of JAWS, a monstrous shark cruising above the viewer.

What more can I say? This set is destined to be a classic group of First Day Covers -- they can't miss. One year, five years, ten years down the road, collectors will be searching, searching, searching. Do a smart thing and acquire a set now. Dealing with U.S. issues, I never get the chance to use world-wide topics. The "Earth" stamp gave me the opportunity, and I grabbed it with both hands.

The world's wildlife. The world's people. The world's natural beauty. All are represented in this set of the Seven Continents and the Seven Seas. My chance to express -- your chance to acquire. Because of my money-back guarantee, you risk nothing and can't lose by reserving a set. You will lose the chance if you don't act now.

Time is short. Please send a $9.50 deposit now, and I'll acknowledge your reservation immediately. As always happens, some collectors will "want in" after the cut-off, and they will be disappointed because none will be available. If you want the set (even to examine the first covers to see if you like them), send your deposit immediately.   Thanks.
