This is the second cover in my series to depict the art of Ski-Jumping. In the first cover already offered (11301 at $7.00) the jumper is viewed at the apex of the jump as he left the ramp. In this depiction, he is viewed extending out over the skis and he is bringing up the tips to his face. It is at this moment that technique translates into distance and style points.

Far below, the crowd is interspersed with colorful festive banners of red, blue and green. The Olympic flame burns in the mountain air. The alpine meadows and snowy peaks rise in the background. At this point in time the grand stage is perfect for this moment of the jump.
